Good for you! One station is enough for me. Although I am working on a small set up at home.

1. Tell about the fish and where it was.

2. What's on the farm? Crops, corn, beans.  Grew up on a farm. Always like to know since corn is 7.16bu in Iowa.

I love the setup. The wind sensor looks well sited. I added solar to my station. Doesn't quite make it a Plus. I'l get the UV sensor eventually.

PS, It being sited out there, any plans to add leaf/soil station?
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.

The fish was caught about 3 weeks ago in Ontario Canada. 40 In. and 22 pounds. Put up a hell of a fight for 10 minutes!
We we have about 600 acres. I'd say its about half soybeans half corn.

Well our agronomists use the station and they might want me to add it eventually. Several CO-OPs in our neck of the woods use the station.
By the way, the old station (Davis weather monitor II) is for sale for $300.

Sounds like a good way to get sponsorship and money for upgrades/site hosting.

Any crop damage from wind this year?

Not so far... The station saw its first high wind gust of 47 MPH and it goose necked the corn. Other wise its come out of that and everything is looking dark green and healthy.  :-P

http://davisnet.com/weather/how-to-choose-a-weather-station/use_agriculture.asp The small picture on the top right corner has a sub liner that mentions a corn and soybean grower. Thought this sounded like your situation.
