Universal Anemometer Interface - 6336

Hi All,

I'm interested in possibly making a modern version of the discontinued Universal Anemometer Interface to work with the RM Young 05103.

I've posted in the Buy/Sale section to see if anyone has one I could buy. However, photos of the front and back of the 6336 PCB would work too.

Basically, I'm curious if there's a microcontroller involved or if it's just passives.

I second this. ^

I too am preparing to have a go at making an interface.

Here's a video with an albeit low resolution look inside but it at least gives a general idea of what's going on:

From the video, it looks like there's a microcontroller. Makes sense as there's a battery.

RichG:
I have a 6330 variant if that's of any use? I always thought this variant was identical to the ISS PCB? I'm UK based otherwise I would probably donate it in order to support your work.

Happy to provide PCB shots.

Thanks Rich. Unfortunately that's a different product.

The 6336 doesn't transmit. It adapts the signals from 3rd party anemometers. You would have plugged the 6336 into either the ISS or an anemometer transmitter kit

It basically is unless something has changed recently.
