Ruuvi placement for temperature readings

I have a Ruuvi device which measures temperature.  I'd like to put it somewhere on my pickup truck where I can see outside temps.  I realize there is no place to get accurate ambient temps, so I'm really just looking for the best solution to get the best possible reading. 

Any suggestions for a temp sensor somewhere on a vehicle or RV.
