weewx rain total

I have a ws 200 and GW1100 pushing to weewx.  it was working fine then there was a big jump in rain total from 0.96" to 3.35" in just one minute! ws 200 console and ambientweather are reading fine, but weewx gave it a big jump. Is their some setting I'm missing the software?
