Topic: WxSim 3in1-forecast script not working in PHP 8.xx

Hi,
I've been using the WxSim 3in1-forecast (wxsim_wxall) script since 2017, but when I tried to migrate from PHP 7.xx PHP 8.xx version, it stopped working!
Although there are some compatibility warnings in 7.xx it is working. The author of that script (Nordicweather.net) has stopped the development since 2017 when it was updated for the last time.

Is there a chance to find an updated version of that or try to fix the issues that makes it unusable in PHP 8.xx environment? The author's page is here:

We are seeing a few scripts now which stop working on PHP 8+ and their authors are not around any more or at least not updating them. I think you will not be lucky unless a current user has corrected any issues and is willing to share the fixes. Perhaps if you could provide the actual PHP errors you are seeing in your server logs someone might be able to suggest a fix.

I agree, it's very difficult to find an updated script, but I count to anyone who has corrected the issues and is willing to share any fixes!

If not, the script will be disabled and upgrade my server to PHP 8.xx, because a safer PHP environment is more important than anything else!

I am not aware of any current PHP 8 version of these fine scripts.
The same question was asked at another forum a few days ago.

I did a QAD upgrade and posted the results at https://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/wx3in1-script-running-on-php-8-x/73471/1

You can download and test/use thatversion but  and
-> share your problems when you encounter those so that i can solve them.

I will try to remove all warnings first and will remove other messages in the coming days.

It will take some time as the warnings are caused by missing versus expected available data.
And lastret.txt and plaintext.txt are very customisable.
