Can anyone give guidance on basic rules of thumb on segmented ranging in relationship to topology. I am in the foothills of the rockies about 20 miles west of Boulder,CO. I have a very complicated local mountain profile. After several years of satisfactory local function I have noticed that my detector is blind in a few directions which seems to be dependent in range. It seems to be a line of sight issue. I am convinced it is something I will need to live with but would like to know definitively. Thanks
