my davis weather station has some signs of life
Fox_Of_The_Wind:
I just got home from work and I seen that my weather station went off line. well the station shows no signs of life. the displays that I have just show a L for lost signal. I did replace its battery but it did not seem to do any good. I did a price check for a new board for it and for that much money I might as well just buy a new weather station. I did check dip switch 4 for transmitter light. and it had nothing.
Anyone have any thoughts what I can do? (I do have a few station) so that is why my website is still up to date.

What specific station?

Oh yes that would have helped. My bad.
Vantage Pro2 wireless version.

TBH if you have definitely checked that the battery is good, inserted with correct polarity and that the battery contacts are clean
and still definitely no led with Dip 4 on then chances are that the sim board is dead and needs replacing.
There are other long shots like a replacement supercap might fix things or that the console channels somehow got changed and need resetting. But a completely dead led on the sim board is not a good sign.
