NOAA report this month
« on: December 08, 2019, 03:38:35 PM »
Hi,

I have a Vantage Vue weather station that connects to my PC via my Weatherlink logger, I can then browse the data on my PC using the Weatherlink software........the data is also uploaded to weatherlink.com. I've had this set up for years and never had a problem until recently.

If I go to the NOAA monthly reports via the Weatherlink software every month for this year has populated as I would expect it to other than October (I only have one day showing any data). However, if I 'browse' the data for October it all appears to be there. Any idea what I've done wrong or the cause of the issue ?

I've attached screenshots  which will hopefully make it clearer !!

Thanks

One thing for sure, you've got a bad temp/humidity sensor.

Hi,

Yep, it's not worked for a while however, all other months are fine right up to the present day.

Just upgraded to the Pro2, I've found the reliability of the Vue to be very poor. Every time the humidity or temp sensor breaks you end up paying £150 to replace the whole board !

Thanks.

That's a bit weird!I can only guess that if you look at day 2's data in detail then there's a corruption in there somewhere, possibly in the date/time field.

Sorry, but I don't usually have time to help with individual issues by email unless you are a Prodata customer. Please post your issue in the relevant forum section here & I will comment there if I have anything useful to add.

Just upgraded to the Pro2,
One of the things I absolutely love about the VP2, everything is easily replaceable.

I would agree. WL will work fine then out of the blue weird stuff happens.
Scour your October data for anything that is an outlier and delete it.
