Weather Banner Help

So I added the weather banner script from TNET, and it is working, it there a way to add an image to the background? I see alot of you here have very nice banners that show this data. is there another script I should be using? Also, is there a way for the script to generate a .jpg file?
I would like to use this image -

Thanks Paul.

Also, is there a way for the script to generate a .jpg file? I cannot figure out a way to use the image certain places that require. An image file and not a php file
