WEb cam options.
« on: June 15, 2025, 08:54:13 PM »
I am currently looking for a web cam option for Ecowitt. The FP10 however is not compatible with the GW3000 that I have. The other option is a FTP camera with a FTP server with free hosting. Another option is using my existing router's USB port and a SSD to create a server. It can be done but I will need to research this option
Ambient Weather: WS-2902, IP Observer v4.6.2
Ecowitt: GW1000B: v1.7.8, GW1200B v1.3.8, GW3000B v1.0.9
Sending weather data to, Ambient CWOP, Ambient Weather, AWEKAS, Ecowitt, PWS Weather, Weathercloud, Wunderground, MADIS, and APRS
CumulusMX dashboard. V4.5.2b4505

The FP10 however is not compatible with the GW3000 that I have.

A webcam is normally stand-alone that is independent on the wx station, I don't understand compatibility issue.

I think if you provide more details about what it is you want to accomplish you will get more help with your project.
