Deer inhabit many parts of the country and of course they have their young in time to benefit from the seasonal arrival of abundant food. Yesterday, I photographed this fawn on our backyard lawn:
Yes, I am
painfully aware of how destructive these beasts can be to our yard! Also, I know there are many hunters who prefer to call fawns "delicious" than cute. I hope people can simply enjoy this photo as the seasons turn from spring to summer.
