Probably one should redo all of the pre-release copy to update information that important. Nothing worse than buying something new that doesn't support existing hardware.

Thanks... I did not phrase that right… the items that are working with the Access such as all of all the temperature sensors seem to still work with the new app? "A: All weather stations and products that use My AcuRite today will be upgraded to AcuRite NOW in the near future and will NOT require any new equipment." AcuRite Support Team

I'll just say, never buy product based on the promise of future updates. It almost always leads to disappointment.

I have multiple Atlas displays and only use the PWS Monitor app on my phone when out and about.  I might swallow buying a couple of new displays, but no Weather Underground make this a non starter for me.  I'm on my second Atlas and when it dies, I'll be looking for something else.  I really thought Acurite was intent on moving away from the toy tier products and more towards at least enthusiast level equipment.  Apparently not.

If anyone buys one of these new units can you update us to how you can view online ? I use my PC to open the MyAcurite web page to see all my sensors and it has worked great for all these years . Will the new AcuRite NOW also be able to view online as a web page ?? Thanks for any help .

Currently, you can view on display and AcuRite NOW app. Whether they will make web interface for AcuRite NOW or not, only Acurite knows.
I'd assume they will have to, if they want to migrate from myAcurite to AcuRite NOW.
If they won't, well, then it's safe to say that Acurite completely lost the plot (or maybe just a shift in target demographics). Who knows...

says this on the product page
Compatibility Details: Compatible with AcuRite NOW app. NOT compatible with My AcuRite, AcuRite Access, or Weather Underground
Seamless Integration with Smart-Home Devices: Connect your existing Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or smart thermostat devices to automate weather-dependent tasks to optimize your smart-home setup

It'd be more clear if they added Optimus is compatible with its desktop display, which is not the same as the NOW app, is it?
I'm not interested in the smart home stuff but Acurite marketing would seem to believe customers want it.
Snark: why would I want to attempt control of my smart home devices with devices as unreliable and buggy as home weather stations can be?
