New Modem/Gateway - No data on Internet sites
« on: February 26, 2025, 09:48:18 AM »
Everything was working fine before I switched from a DSL modem to a T-Mobile 5G Gateway yesterday.  Vantage Pro 2 with Weatherlink 6.0.5 on desktop - Direct RJ45 connection from console to new T-Mobile Gateway.

I can view data & download data to Weatherlink installed on desktop which is connected by RJ45 to switch.  But data not uploading to Weatherlink.com or Weather Underground anymore.  I do still have Internet Settings/Internet Transfer Enabled set to "ON".

What setting am I forgetting about that need to be changed or reset?  My brain is getting tired.

Thanks

Is WU is being uploaded through your Weatherlink.com?

Have you checked the log file in WL 6.0.5 to see if the uploads are working or if any errors are reported?

Enjoy,
Paul

Yes.  WU is uploaded through WL.com

Are we talking about the download.log file?  If so this is todays:
02/26/25  9:16a (Gladys, VA) GetAcknowledge () response: 0x0A (should be 0x06 <ACK>)
02/26/25  9:06a (Gladys, VA) No new data to download.
 02/26/25  9:00a (Gladys, VA) GetAcknowledge () response: 0x0A (should be 0x06 <ACK>)

Is this telling me what I need to know?

I have to go out and can't check for the correct name in my install.  I was thinking of the FTP upload status logging that would indicate any errors, but possibly you are only using the WL.com uploads so that may not show up.

Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks for the help.  I was able to contact Davis by phone and all I had to do is reboot the console.  The reboot dropped the old IP and replaced it with the new IP.  You would think by now that I would have thought of this.

Till next time I screw up........
