Topic: Notes on left side

when in device mode and the spanner is clicked I want to add my fault and reason and cause in to the notes column when I press save nothing happens ,what am I doing wrong  have used the note column before by typing my findings and pressing save now it is not working, any thoughts

Don't know I'm afraid. Suspect this is a question that only Davis Support can answer.

My only guess is that maybe this Notes field is intended for a short additional note about the location of the station rather than an ongoing log of station issues. So it may be limited in length to eg 200 or 500 characters or some such, or maybe isn't expected to be indefinitely editable. Certainly, the window provided is quite small suggesting that not much text input is expected.

Thanks for the reply ,I had come up with idea .I was just trying to keep track of the bad rain data and reasons  why I now know it is condensation so maybe there's no need now.
