Rain records wrong again
« on: December 12, 2024, 06:08:21 AM »
Hi to the group
Please can you help .We are going through a -° cold snap in NE Scotland and due to condensation freezing and thawing inside the transmitter it is throwing up spurious rain data . My question is , how do I amend the records . I know how to reset the yearly record  but can not work out how to change the day and month records on the data page . has anyone come up against this problem please.
Thank you for your help

Are you asking about weatherlink.com or Weatherlink for Windows?

As far as I know, there is currently no editing available for individual data records at weatherlink.com I'm afraid. Record editing is rumoured to be on the roadmap for wl.com but if and when is anyone's guess.

thank you John it's a shame as you know it messes up all the records I do not know how to get round that .Unless you know a mechanical fix to the transmitter I have had it to pieces tried Silca Gel packets  and put Vasaline  round the joints and still it gets water ingress the O ring seal looks ok the only place it gets damp is the antenna grommet.
Thanks again John
