Cumulus logging excessive ftp errors
« on: March 16, 2013, 02:29:54 PM »
Hello folks,

I have been running Cumulus for a couple of months and have recently installed Ken's PHP/AJAX templates including the Steel Series gauges. The countless hours he obviously spends devoted to help us all is remarkable. He was patient and helped me identify a few of my missteps and I am grateful for his time. Now that I have my site up and running for the most part, I have a problem I would like to throw out to the "group"...     #-o

The Cumulus error log is reporting FTP Connect Timeouts about every 10 min. Also FTP Connect Error code=426 about every 30 min. I have looked at FileZilla's 426 code and it is 'Connection closed; transfer aborted'. The site is running fine but I sure would like to understand what is causing these errors. If there is something I should post here to be more specific please let me know.

Thanks,

Ralph     http://hsnpar.org/

Ralph,

Try switching from passive to active mode see:

There are other threads on the Cumulus site that discuss these errors.

Your site looks good BTW.
