Topic: WS-2000 to CumulusMX V4 - Not connecting, no data

I have a Ambient WS-2000 weather station with the Ecowitt Firmware - hp25x0_user_v2.0.4, that I am trying to get to talk to CumulusMX.

I downloaded the latest version of CumulusMX and in the settings for station, I've put in all required information, that it is a Ambient station.  In the console, over a web browser, I set the CMX IP 192.168.0.145, set port to 8998, added the path of /station/Ambient? and the update to 20 seconds. 

I still cannot get any weather information to show up in CMX.  When the network thing popped up when first running CMX, I hit allow for private connections so it isn't that.

I've ran CMX V3? on an older LaCross station that was hooked up via serial connection, but so far I can't get CMX v4 to either talk to the WS-2000 console or vice versa.

If anyone can give any pointers to try to figure this out as I like web interface that CMX has compared to AmbientWX.net.

As Stuart mentioned, the Cumulus support forum should be helpful.  I suggest you also zip-up the last files in your \CumulusMX\MXdiags folder and attach to your post as that will be very helpful to diagnose the issue.

Yeah I figured it can't hurt.  I am at a loss as to y it won't go.  Will wait and see what they say over there and if I get a solution, will make sure to put results here just in case someone else runs into same issue.

Well I figured it out.  In the console where you put the path information I had inadvertently had a space before the first / in the path.  I took that out and it still wasn't sending data until I put the ? back in the path.

Just after updating that, data was now being sent to CumulusMX
