noaaweatherradio.org apparently is not optimized for mobile. Try it out for yourself!
Your last alternative is weatherusa.net/radio at this point if you're experiencing that

I'm able to use it on my Android 14 phone.  I do have some issues scrolling down the list to my station.   But once there, I could play it just fine.

Stating "not supported" suggests that it won't work at all on mobile.  It does but as you later pointed out, with quirks.  It might be better the lead with "Not optimized for mobile" so as not to give the wrong impression.

Another option is to go to someone who has the web page for Saratoga Templates and play it from there.  It has a drop down which works a bit better on phones.

I'd be curious where they are getting those streams.

1) My site is listed.  But I didn't submit anything to them.  Which means they are "finding" streams and basically pilfering them without permissions.
2) My stream for Bismarck ND doesn't even work.  So probably not as good a list as NOAAWeatherRadio, or even Broadcastify.

They probably get their streams off of other sources. They do credit them so that's why I say that

But if they are getting their streams from NOAAWeatherRadio.org for example, they really should be crediting them as well.  That site is doing most of the heavy work and taking the bandwidth hit.  Not my site.

I can't tell where my streams is originating,  but it's a bad stream anyway.

Weather USA is using my Omaha KIH61 stream as well and they do credit my Stonybrook South website with a link to it.  They have never asked permission but I guess I don't have a problem with it.  It's another method for folks to get current  weather info.

I do know that they are getting my feed directly from me and not NOAA Weather Radio Org. server. I still have an Iceast2 server running from when WU quit streaming weather radio.  From looking at the logs on my Icecast server I'm 99.9% sure that where they get it.

Bismark WXL78, however, does appear to me from looking at the source of their site IS using https://wxradio.org/ND-Bismarck-WXL78.  Additionally, and I didn't count them, there are a good number of references to wxradio.org in their list.

So ya they do "scab" our server.  I'd defer to Mike or Ken, but I didn't know it was going on.  Don't know if they did.

And I don't mean to pick on WeatherUSA.  I've stumbled across my stream on a couple of other sites as well.  Don't recall off the top of my head.

I suppose that I don't really mind folks offering direct links to wxradio.org streams .. multiple personal weather websites do just that.  The noaaweatherradio.org site and our website NOAA radio script set does provide attribution for the providers of the streams (where they wished to have it done).

It is a bit galling the WeatherUSA never contacted us (the NOAA weather radio crew) to *ask* before they included the links.  It seems that they have some folks contributing feeds directly to WeatherUSA and our wxradio.org feeds are being used to 'fill out their options' for stations they don't have direct submission to their site.

Actually, 'Wes' from WeatherUSA contacted us when we were beating this thing up, back in Feb 2017... offering us his server, etc...
see https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=31396.msg316172#msg316172
Wes would have been a prime mover in getting us off the ground, but his contact post was about just a little too late...... we'd already agreed reluctantly with Chris at crushed box software to use his wxradio.dyndns server in partnership.  Chris helped us get this off the ground and up and running... then I think Chris' lifestyle took a change, and something went awry... especially when we needed to upgrade to SSL hosting for media... we don't know what happened for sure... anyway,  that's when Ken fired up and donated an icecast, a domain, and a machine on his own dime, and we went to wxradio.or for streaming source. And that's sort of why I more or less would give Wes no frown if he uses some of our streams.  He may not even have scraped them all, I tend to think some of the providers may have actually signed up at WxUSA using the wxradio.org stream source... don't know that, but thought it a few times....

I think the bigger issue is Ken having to develop a 'tor' killer to block any number of 'network' scraper urls... It was horrible for awhile loading down wxradio.org icecast...

Yeah, the main site isn't optimized for Mobile... we needed a feasible player, that provided a bunch of features, I owned a script, we needed to get online, we used it,  and all the supporting scripts Ken developed are keyed to support it.  As well as Doug's QRA monitoring suite of scripts, on his dime, and machine are also keyed in to the main site!  Ken's standalone script seems to work pretty well on mobile, as far as I've seen.

now correct me if i'm wrong, I believe i did say something about it being scroll sensitive..
Like, I was on mobile, and every swipe was just like having your mouse set on the lowest sensitivity. It's not optimized, but it gets the job done
