Difference in Weatherlink app screens

(1/2) > >>

Garth Bock:
I just noticed that on weatherlink.com on the Stations screen it shows my current station temp as 93F and Feels Like at 108F.This matches all my weather software and my 6313 console. Data to the site is provided by a WifiLogger in an Envoy. When I go to my main page it shows the temp as 93F and Feels Like at 119F. The Feels Like is different by about 10F between the two pages. Anyone having the same problem? It is not the WifiLogger because on the website the stations page and my main page are different in the Feels Like. It is not an update interval (I am on Basic). Shouldn't all the data match between my Stations page and my main page ?

Hi,
Is this your WL.com site https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/7abde0ce-f82d-41de-a7ce-e99fa6ec7ce2

I have my WL.com basic site also updated by WiFiLogger https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/a3a3c5e7-b8bd-4910-ba3a-f6ad6e1f09d1
Where would I see the Feels like?

Enjoy,
Paul

Garth Bock:
Here is a screen grab of the Stations screen and my screen. If you notice the arrows the Feels like temps are different. The 108F matches the 6313 console and all my weather programs running on a PC. One Envoy with a WifiLogger sends to weatherlink.com. Another Envoy with a serial logger feeds the weather computer. I also have 3) 6312 consoles around the house and they all agree. The weatherlink website has something strange happening.

Forgot to mention that when this happened I logged out and back in which didn't fix it. The Feels temps were 10F different. I just did another another log out/in and now the Feels temps are 3F different. Why don't the 2 pages match ?

Hi,
Terminology...
You are talking about the Weatherlink App and I was presuming the Weatherlink.com site as per your subject line!

On the Weatherlink App I checked yours and mine.  Need to keep in mind that my station and Weatherlink.com settings are in Celsius so if I look at another site on Weatherlink.com or Weatherlink App, like yours that uploads in Fahrenheit, it shows up for me converted to Celsius.  When checking it,
Your Station screen shows Temp 34.2°C and Feels like 40.5°C
My Station screen (WiFiLogger/basic WL.com) shows Temp 24.6°C and Feels like 24.7°C
My Station screen (Weatherlink Live/Pro WL.com) shows Temp 25.1°C and Feels like 25.1°C

Your Station Tier screen: Basic shows Temp 34.3°C and Feels like 42.3°C
My Station Tier screen: Basic shows Temp 24.6°C and Feels like 23.8°C
My Station Tier screen: (Weatherlink Live/Pro WL.com) shows Temp 24.6 and Feels like 24.8°C
There is some difference due to time when checking but not significant.

But when I check Temp and Feels like in my CumulusMX there is often a 2 to 3°C or more difference.  I believe it is because of wind at the time as that will have a great impact on the feels like!  CumulusMX updates wind more frequently than WL.com.

Enjoy,
Paul

Garth Bock:
No wind here. As I said the two screens were showing two different feels like. If you saw the screen grabs, shouldn't they be the same ? Wind has nothing to do with it. Yes...I should have specified this is the WL app. Look at the screen grabs again and notice what the black arrows are pointing at. This was grabbed at the exact same time and had nothing to do with update intervals. This was happening all day.

Update..... Suddenly both screens are now showing the same correct amounts. It was strange to see the correct Feels like temp on the Stations List screen and then seeing a different Feels like temp (by 10F ! ) on my station's main screen. Looks like Davis fixed it.
