ggaby:
Hi.
I would like to know how can i see outside humidity with the I300.
The sensor supplied is only for outside temperature, but, on their brouchure they say "backyard" indoor outdoor humidity.
Thank you,
Gaby

That is strange. All the literature on OS and resellers sites talk about outdoor humidty using the sensor. The manual makes no reference to outdoor humidity, and specifically calls it a temperature sensor.
Even the sensors model number THN800 has an H in it (ThermoHygro....) RETRACTED Even though I know THGR is the most common reference in looking at other temp only sensors for OS, they all have THN to start with..... EDIT
Must have been something lost in translation between the design/factory in China and the sales side.....

ggaby:
Thanks,
So my question is, can i add a sensor which mesured the humidity as well? Will the I300 read this sensor and display both outside humidity and temp?
Gaby.
mackbig:
Based on the manual I doubt it. But if the sales stuff is wrong, maybe the manual is wrong...
It says it has three channels, but no mention of extra sensors, or changing the channel really.
The I600 says it comes with a THGN800 which definitely does humidity. Seems to be on liquidation for about the same price. and 600 is better than 300, if this is the type of station you are really looking for.

Is the USB receiver the same with the I300 as the I600? The software seems to be the same (e.g. it offers lots of set-up options) across a number of products and shows places for 10 different sensors. My guess is that it should read and record an additional humidity sensor at the PC but the I300 "main unit" would only display temperature. That's just a guess. I've had the I600 for about a week now and am having fits with the software
