Fine Offset Clone to pwsweather
« on: February 22, 2020, 10:14:21 PM »
Is there a way to get data from a fine offsett (pantech wh2950) to pwsweather.com?
Running WSView / Easyweather 1.4.7

There is no specific setting for pwsweather in the firmware but it does have a custom setting that perhaps might work?

This is the settings available to me in the firmware . . .

I found this information on how to get things working
https://bhyve.orbitonline.com/topic/how-to-add-my-personal-weather-station/page/2/#post-78324

and this is what I have input into wsview
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

however, still getting "old/no data" message for my station.
What am I missing here?
The key / password is a plain word with no special characters so that isn't the issue

actually, I've managed to get it going by removing the "http://" from the url
so . . .

server ip / hostname:
www.pwsweather.com

path:
/weatherstation/updateweatherstation.php?

Station ID:
yoursationid

Station key:
your pwsweather.com website login password

port:
80

Update interval:
180

also, log out of the website and then back in to see if station active. Simply refreshing the status screen just showed inactive for me.

This is my station now . . .

Thanks, it works with my Ecowitt HP2551, but unfortunately, I can't manage with my GW1000. I don't understand why.

I seem to have seen a info when setting up the gw1000 with the station, you had to turn off the wifi on your smartphone if it is on the same wifi network as the station.
Try it

I don't understand what you mean...My smartphone is necessarily on the same wifi as the GW1000 to configure it.

All is fine, now. It works with GW1000 too.

Nice! Took a little while for the data to start logging but functioning now. Thanks!

How long did it take for you to start seeing your data?

I got it working, I initially followed farcus's instructions by removing the "http://" from the url in the server ip / hostname field.

After no luck I thought I'd just try adding the http::// and it worked instantly

So now it has stopped working and I have no data coming through to PWSweather, I have changed no settings, was working yesterday and now today it's not. Any ideas why?
