WiFi Logger 2 Stopped working- no comms- just blinks green

(1/2) > >>

Bobvelle:
New Wifi Logger2 stopped working, not reachable via wifi, not sending data. The green Led flashes once every second. It's been on-line with no issues for a little over a month then nothing.

I tried.
Reset (white button} --nothing
complete console reboot---nothing

what does the blinking green LED indicate? And does pressing the red one for 10 sec factory reset it or does it retain the data reporting upload settings?

davidmc36:
This video shows how to factory reset.

My Green LED is on solid while connected.

If it is flashing it is in some other state.

Have you tried Smart Config? I like how it works.

Bobvelle:
So I tried the red config button- logged into the wifi logger SSID and checked, everything was correct. I reset it and still would not connect to my network. So I rebooted my router and about 10 minutes later the LED was steady green and uploading to the sites again. I have about 8 other wifi devices that are always on this same network, and none of them were having issues, only the WiFi Logger.
I don't understand why, in the middle of the night, after being on-line for weeks, it just decides to just drop off the LAN.

davidmc36:
It is mysterious to me also. I had that happening a few times. After upgrade to 2.42 FW the issue seems to have stopped. Although, a click of white reset brought mine back to life when it did happen.

Bobvelle:
This happened on version 2.42

the only change I made yesterday, when i got it working again, was to set it back to DHCP instead of static. Maybe it will help... IDK
