Default weather station for location

I am using the web version of weather underground. When searching for a specific location it auto-selects a nearby station. What defines which nearby station is used? Can I change it to select my station instead? Is there a way to add my station to my "favorites" or "home"? When I go to the station page, there is no favorite button, I can only find that button for locations.
When I am in the "location" page, I can click on "change", select my station, however, even when I favorite that it defaults to the other station when clicking on the location on the favorites bar.

Yes, you can choose your station, then save the URL as a bookmark/favorite. For example, my station URL on Weather Underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KVAALDIE28.
