But temp should be measured about 4 feet off the ground  :-(

And if the ISS was that low you could check the rain gauge for leaves every day. . .

And while you're at it, I highly suggest you make your anny cable taut. Not only does it look sloppy, if I do say so, it allows the cable to flop around continuously in the wind, and it will eventually break at a tie down point. I suggest using UV resistant cable ties about 4-ish ft apart.
