WiFi Logger 2 and cabled Vantage Pro 2

Will the WL2 work with the cabled VP2? I'm trying to get the signal into a metal building so I need a cabled system.

Since the only difference between the wireless and cabled Vantage Pro Systems is how the Console communicates with the Sensor Suite, the WFL2 should work with the cabled Console exactly the same as it does with the wireless Console.
