very 2 over temperature by 2c

I've had the davis pro 2 for years now and last year changed the temperature  humidity sensor as it went wrong. Since I've now gone onto uploading data to the davis website I've compared with other sites nearby and its higher by 2c. I did a full maintenance clean yesterday but its still out today. It's sited in the garden with open space around it.
Any thoughts to why?

I would mount it higher to minimize ground influence. Mine is about six feet above the ground.

I've now lifted it to 1.25 metres. Don't think it will make any difference. Check tomorrow.

Which country are you in - standard height varies. 1.2m is fine (recommended height) for UK for instance.

Are you sure that the fan is running? When were batteries and fan last changed?

Please let us know. The other thought is to compare it with another good thermometer and adjust to match if it is indeed a calibration error.

The fan is working and I replaced the solar panel a few months back. Batteries all good.
