Hi!

There is a new firmware for the GW1000, v1.6.8, which fixes a serious problem of the previous version that I was not aware of:

1.Fixed failure to restore configuration parameters after firmware upgrade.
2.If you have upgraded directly from a version below V1.6.4 to 1.6.7, your device parameters may have been broken.
This upgrade will restore factory Settings.You need to reconfigure your upload server, sorry for any trouble caused.

I have just installed the new version on my devices. The settings for weather services were retained. Same for the calibration settings
So no problem (for me) to upgrade.

However, you should take a few screenshots of your settings before an update. It is generally wise to save the settings (as well as the calibration values)

I don’t see any new firmware.
I upgraded to 1.6.7 a few days ago.

I just saw this thread and looked at the app and saw the new f/w so installed it and all is OK, no settings removed. My GW1003 came with 1.6.6 anyway.

I had a strange issue with one of my WH2650 - one which had already a 1.6.7-ß firmware version.
After upgrade to 1.6.7 all WH31 temperature values were shown wrongly - 8-10° too low.
So I went back to 1.6.3 - now, with 1.6.8 it operates normally, i.e. the WH31 sensors show the correct temperature.
Also, no calibration, no rain totals changed - everything remained.

after 1.6.7 on one of my gw1000 all humidy on 1-8 sensor went to 1% and my co/pm10 wouldn't register anything but temp and hum.

This has fixed the issue, odd that my second gw1000 (all same sensors except it uses a different anemometer) had everything working.

I spoke too soon about updating my GW1003, I have had to re-register both my rain gauge and the lightning sensor despite them both showing as connected in the App. Also then found a small leaf had dropped into the rain gauge and jammed the tipping bucket! Bit of a b****r really since they appeared OK but obviously were not! The wind/temp/hum was working just fine!

I dont like it.
V1.6.5 poor outdoor temp signal
v1.6.6 poor outdoor temp signal
V 1.6.7 excelant outdoor temp signal
v 1.6.8 back to 0-2 bars.

I submitted a ticket over this to replace the outdoor temp/hum sensor while I was on V1.6.6 & had a reply,however I replied with I'll keep an eye on it.
cple days later & V 1.6.7 came out & it was fine untill today when I updated to 1.6.8 now the connection is more off than having 2 bars.

since the gw100 software is whats been changed I'm not so sure anymore that a replacment outdoor temp/hum would fix it due to it workimg fine with V 1.6.7.

No custom settings or rain totals were lost during the update to V 1.6.8
I'm thinking my problem now lies with my GW100 instead of the outdoor temp/hum sensor.
