Title: Possibility to edit Weatherlink extreme reports
Post by: MakatiWx on September 02, 2019, 08:01:24 AM
Hi. I am very new to WL and had recently bought Davis vantage vue. Can I ask if I could edit extreme temperature stats reports in WL  (in NOAA summary) shown in attachment? I am from Philippines and we have tropical climate here.. so negative values in extreme reports especially in temperature are not useful. I would like to edit the "-18.0" degree Celsius to our normal minimum temperature climatology. Is it possible?

I assume you went through the NOAA Setup?

Yes. I did input necessary data in the NOAA setup including the means of temperature and normal rainfall for my location every month but the NOAA Monthly climatology summary still has a "min <=-18.0" in the stats. I just want to modify that line for our needs but no luck  :-(

No, AFAIK the format of the NOAA reports is fixed.

:-( sad. Stats of extreme temperatures in NOAA reports does not match to our tropical weather here in the Philippines. Anyway. Thank you all for your answers :)  \:D/

Just write your own report to look like a NOAA report.
