24 HR solar panel
« on: September 02, 2016, 10:57:47 AM »
Just wondering. The cable under the 24 hr solar panel bracket (when plugged into junction board) only acts to power the fan right? And the top solar panel only acts to power the station and charge the supercap. Is this correct? Just making sure and trying to learn. Thanks!

If i'm wrong hopefully someone will correct me here, but I am 95% sure I'm correct.

If you have the FARS, the bigger solar panel below the transmitter not only powers the fan during the day, but it also recharges the Ni-Cd C cells. That is unless you only have a daytime FARS.

You are correct on the smaller solar panel charging the supercap for the transmitter.
