One, I would still prefer to have an app for it as opposed to viewing it in my browser. In my opinion that just simplifies it and makes it easier for me.
If you are using Android there is a very simple easy way to add an icon on your home screen that will pretty much act like any other app icon.
- in Chrome load up Ecowitt.net (I suggest telling the login to remember your password)
- go to 3 dot menu on top right
- select
Add to Home Screen- confirm action to add icon
- look for new icon on your home screen
Many apps that you use are really nothing more than a browser inside of a simple app shell. These are call wrapper apps. Because all they do is access the web and the app is not much more than just wrapping the browser engine into an app for access.
Perhaps there is a way to do this on iOS also. I don't have my test iOS device with me to look now.
Two; I'd love an option to display a single value for each sensor. For example, if I want to see current conditions I currently have a graph to look at the last 24hrs or daily. It's a bit difficult to see the actual current condition at a glance. Maybe an option to display the current reported values only? Or if you want to see the monthly Max values, or annual or whatever, have the option for just that value without the graph. If there is a way to do this that I'm missing please let me know.
What your are asking for is like a Summary Report to the stated period. You want to see a report of max/min and total rainfall for the time frame selected in a nice simple table. For daily it pretty much is the boxes for each sensor at the top of the page. We have that for daily. What we don't have is the tally of weekly, monthly and yearly (and custom) without looking at the graph stamps. The graph stamps don't address total rainfall nor do I see how they could, so the Summary Report could show that.
