outside station snow issue

i have the lacrosse 79400 unit and i manage to make a new vane that does [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  not dance around as much as the factory one does. if the photos loads you can see it but i have this issue now. the snow has settled on top of the unit and has stopped the cups. i went up and knocked the snow off but again here it is. so has anyone figured this out yet. i imagine this is an issue for all the stations that have the cups on top.
