R.I.P Gary England (1939-2025)
« on: June 11, 2025, 10:32:18 AM »
Just before midnight last night, Gary England passed away at the age of 85. He was a meteorologist at KWTV-DT in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.[1]

He left a legacy on the weather community, and has had very remarkable weather moments in his career as a meteorologist. He was the first person to provide weather warnings to the public.

He served in the U.S. Navy 3 years before becoming a meteorologist at KWTV-DT, his career lasted 41 years there up until he passed away.

Again, he left a legacy on the weather community, and we hope to carry on that legacy and the valuable things he did over his life.
