Not for me.

Tried it on my phone as well, same thing.

The update should not be in the stores. Have you had chance to see if you can see your station by adding it manually?

Yep. I was able to add it.

I do have a couple of discrepancies; All the weather variables are correct, except humidity and dew point. The values don't match mine.

The dew point is incorrect any way. It says the air temp is 18°C and humidity is 81%, that should give a dew point of 14.7°C, but it says 13.9°C

Hmm what does weather underground say as the data should just be coming from there.
If you've got an example where they differ (date time and wg still you are seeing) I'll take a look.

It has just updated an caught up, but the dew point is still a degree lower than it should be.

I think I found the issue with the numbers sometimes being different. The data comes back with dew points, temps etc for each 5-minute interval with a low, high, and average over that period of time. I was taking the highs and their website was taking the averages, so I've changed to also look at the averages (apart from for places where it's specifically looking for highs and lows which it then uses those respectively)

I'll get an update out soon.

So, after showing that image of it saying I had 'No devices'

My WU station has now gone..

https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IDORSETW12

No idea why, the weather channel never reply to emails.

13 years of data is now gone.

What the hell! Yeah I'm seeing no data since 6:48 this evening.

Maybe reach out here https://feedback.weather.com/?b_id=17298#ask

Say you are having an issues with the api (as it's an api support page)

It still shows data up to that time here, but then just stops

I've sent about a dozen emails via that link, but I never get a reply. It's hopeless.

I'm not going to bother with them anymore. They have completely ruined it for PWS owners, and the removal of my station and data is the last straw.

I decided to set up a test station on wunderground, even that doesn't show up in searches, both wunderground and the API. I also still get the pink warning box..

Wunderground is completely screwed. They should save themselves the time, money and hassle, and close down the PWS side of things. It's not fit for purpose.

Yeah it's a real mess.
It seems with the api that you could in theory get back all your old data by querying historic dates on the api.

It got so much worse when ibm bought wunderground and so many other weather service.

IBM, at least, is a computer company.

But in February 2024 Weather Underground got sold by IBM:

My new station still won't show up in a search.

I even set up a whole new account, with a different email address etc, and the same thing still happens. In fact, the search ends up taking me to a station located in the USA now.

Remember way back when WU was still owned by the original founders.
It was the standard  for what a weather website should be. Its sad to see it's just an after thought now.

Does this work for Davis VP2 stations? I do have WU also.

At the moment it'll just work with data supplied to weather underground, so if you supply data to wu, then it can read it.

I'm working on ecowitt (and compatible) local support at the moment (as that's the station I currently have) so it can update every few seconds. Once I've got that working I'm keen to look at the Davis stations for similar integration.

Just wondering how the widget integration is coming along. I'm really looking forward to seeing this feature, hopefully in the near future.

Not as quickly as I'd like. I've got a very basic widget going in android and iOS, but having some issue on iOS getting the widget to update. It'll update occasionally, but sometimes won't update for days. Still plugging away at making (slow) progress!

Hi there

I just noticed in the 'upcoming hours' panel, wind gusts are always 0.

The humidity from my station data is still wrong as well.

Is that gusts from your station or in the forecast? If its the forecast, which weather provider and you using and I'll check  I'm getting the gusts from the api call.

Did I try to fix humidity, I thought I had, is it potentially rounding incorrectly?

I don't think it's a rounding error, it's just always wrong. It's currently 86% on Wunderground.

Hey Andrew, when do you expect this app to be available on Laptop/PC? This app looks pretty cool!

Hello all.
I have the app and its good, but I would love to see a widget for it, so that it can be placed on the phones home screen.
Thanks

You likely can create your own shortcut button. See tips here: https://www.brandeis.edu/its/support/website-shortcut.html
