WX Station Replacement
« on: August 21, 2024, 04:46:51 PM »
Hello

I have replaced the weather station I use to report to WU. I now have a Davis Pro2 using their WeatherLink.  To add an upload to WU you need a WU station ID, which I have and a 'key'.  I didn't have the key, but found it when I logged into my WU account.  Can I use that for the Pro2 upload to WU?

The old station was been removed from my WeatherLink account.

WU really doesn't care what equipment you use, as long as the data stream sent is the correct format and the ID & Key is included. WU asks what hardware you use, but it is a meaningless question. They don't even list the Ecowitt I use as a choice, but the upload works fine anyway.

So yes, the Key and ID as shown on your WU account are what you add to your new system
