Topic: Ambientweather.net weather cam approval.

Has anyone set up a new weather cam recently on ambientweather.net? How long did it take to get approval so that it showed up for public access? Their FAQ's say up to 48 hours, but my cam has been online and working perfectly for over 4 days now. It status still shows "Your weather cam is awaiting approval to become public". I know I need to be patient, but wondering how long others have waited for approval.

They have been extremely slow.  Send an email to support and complain.

I set mine up a couple of years ago and it didn't take long for it to be approved.

I think their criteria is a real crock. JMO

It ended up being 9 or 10 days before they approved my camera. Not sure what caused the delay.

They don't want to approve mine because of a swimming pool in the picture. I raised up showing more of the sky but still no go. WU never was concerned and my first camera with Ambient showed the same thing but now this guy says no. If anyone clicks on the picture it turns into a video any way so what's the big deal. If you want to see the sky stick your head outdoors. I know, mine's personal!
