I'm looking for suggestions regarding OBS camera properties that could improve the video quality of my wxcam stream.

I replaced my Reolink RLC-510A with a Reolink RLC-810A because the 810 is 4K while the 510 is 5MP. IPTimelapse cannot stream many 4K cameras, including the 810, so I still use IPT for creating images (https://wxdoc.info/wxcam.php), hourly timelapses (https://wxdoc.info/wxcam-lapse.php), and daily timelapses (https://wxdoc.info/202411.php).

To create a stream, I'm using OBS but the video is blurry compared to the IPT video as shown in the screen captures here:

OBS screen capture:

IPT screen capture:

The OBS Properties Input is: rtsp://admin:password@192.168.1.134:554/h265Preview_01_sub and here is a screen capture of the Properties window.

Any suggestions for settings I can change to clear up the blurry video in OBS?
Check out this link. Changing these few settings in the OBS Studio stream may help fix the issue you are seeing if you haven't already been able to fix the problem.
Hope this helps!

They bill 3-months at a time. I've never had a problem and outages are rare. Stream is still running great.

https://www.valentinenebraska.net/StreamingCamera.php

I deleted my camera from there before my last post here and sent an email saying that I refuse to pay the higher bill, because I don't have a camera streaming with them anymore, and I haven't used any bandwidth. They completely ignored my email, and sent another bill totalling over $100.

I ain't paying jack s**t

That is shady behaviour.

Seems out of character, and you sent an email from your account email? They have always been a ton of help and good to work with. They have been great & I still recommend them.  They clearly say canceling is easy to do.

FWIW : :-"
software NETCAM studio going out of development, and source code is up for sale if somebody's interested. Package is Currently available for free for private and for professional usage. free. main page link It will stream virtually any ONVIF camera, as well as RTSP etc for cameras/ camera families in its database. It will record Time Lapse. It will record and save single images. It will upload images ftp, etc.  Insert custom overlays... yea, can be tricky to get acquainted with, but I've used it for years.  YES, at least on Windows, you can install your SSL certificate into NCStudio server, and address its server directly HTTPS.  If you can get the 'camera's Audio link, it will stream the audio, (or another audio source) as show on the experimental audio script player on the linked webcam pages... The cameras, and stills, beginning at this link are ALL netcam studio driven.  True, I've lost my previously good location sighting over the years, but 3 Reolinks + the Radar Capture (using a virtual camera app) are all served locally, not through a service, and I've only 10mb upload, 250mb down local service so frame rate can be slow... but it still streams quality images typically. The SSL cert and DNS forward are a NOIP package, ...what? $25 a year or something.  Other than that, cost is nil, though my radar app and virtual cam have minor or one time costs.  Nil for the cameras themselves, other than the NOIP package which serves other useful purposes than just the camera servers...

yes... all my Hikvisions gradually failed, and replaced them over the last few years.  ONLY problem I've had with Reos is WATER in extreme conditions, over time.  They sit 'bare' in environment with no other protection... I finally started running a bit of RTV around lens housing and body seal... seems to be keeping water out. EXCEPT the 'radar' virtual cam... that's done with "Sparkocam" ...one VERY fine package... got it years ago ... I see the price has really gone up, but I got a lifetime... fyi, that's running on the same machine with VWS, Radarscope, Netcam-serving 2 Reolink 810's + FTP ups and Downs (fling), a downloader for the 'banner' overlay from the server (VWS derived) and some other weather ups and downs... the 'snowcam' (on a bottom-end cheap HP about 8 years old)... serves with Netcam, a Reolink 410, I think(?) (may be an 810...I get confused...) also got a 'sparkocam' install on couple of other old machines, for various 'incidental' things... pretty much no sweat, though I've had a couple of cable damages which were a pain to replace.... The 810s seem to be GREAT cameras for, what $50 bucks a shot???sKids gifted me a Reolink DVR a few years ago, which is kinda cool, for local use...

They finally deleted my account, but they didn't even have the decency to tell me, or reply to the emails I sent.

Good riddance!
