UV Index Forecast
« on: May 22, 2020, 07:59:34 PM »
I apologize if I missed this but for some reason my UV Index Forecast is predicting much higher values than it should.

Any ideas?
Thanks...

I believe this script is based more on your latitude and longitude assuming clear conditions (example: places near the equator would have highest UV, versus the lowest near the poles), and I do not believe the forecast takes into account mesoscale products like clouds/storms/rain.

From Ken's website:

I've received permission from KNMI/EMA to use their handy multi-day UV-Index forecast which is based on latitude and longitude of the location.

Thanks Ed and yes I'm getting those numbers using the temis site.  I get a whole different set using something like this - https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us/forecasts/uv/pennsylvania/philadelphia. I thought my site was off so thank you!
