wxastro not showing moon gif
« on: February 07, 2012, 01:35:03 AM »
Has anyone else had difficulty getting the moon gif and moonphase to appear?    I assume it has to do with using cumulus instead of WD, but the ajax dashboard on the homepage shows the gif and moonphase correctly.

The script for these two items is identical on wxastro and the ajax dashboard...why does one work, and one doesn't?

The problem appears to be that cumulus doesn't define $moonagedays, and it seems to be calculated by the ajax dashboard...which then doesn't carry over to the wxastro page.

Anyone have a workaround?

Hi

You have  // b4 the image name think it should be /

Ron

I tried it both ways,  didn't make any difference.   the // is the way the original script was written, and it appears the same in the ajax dashboard so I don't think that's the problem.

Hello

I might hang on here and try to get a solution to my problem with the moonagedays.gif on the ajax.dashboard.
There appears to be a terrible mixup within the img src directory/filename.

My brains cannot figure out why.

Have a look: http://jachen.homedns.org/wdlive/index.php

Glad for any help or advise

Hi all

I missed a line in Ken's instructions saying that WeatherDisplay should run in English for correct Multilingual.
It only took me about 3 hours to get to the point enabling the fix.

Have a nice weekend everybody!
