« on: September 13, 2011, 12:04:35 PM »
Hello to all
I was pleased to see the threads here brotherhood
Here in our region rely on links to follow up some maps and weather are often unused
I hope to get on a program or station to monitor weather in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia
Do you find such as your knowledge and your experiences
 Thank you for helping me

I recommend Davis. The Vantage Pro2 preferably. But if your budget is tight, the Vue is also a great choice.

With the Pro2 the anemometer is detachable you have the ability to add solar UV leaf wetness soil moisture soil temperature.
The ticker tape is cool.

With the Vue smaller more compact sensor unit.

WeatherLink which is the software, used with Davis station can do alot with the data. But if your going to use a 3rd party program, I'd recommend Weather Display. That software goes the mile with features.

Also, Davis stations are high quality, tough, and durrable so in the harsh Saudi Arabian environment they should do well. As other stations might struggle.
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.
