Topic: NOAA Report not uploading

Maybe it was the switch of the new year but everything has been uploading great until I noticed the NOAA Reports not uploading at midnight January 1st, 2016.. Cumulus doesn't list any upload errors so idk what gives...

I presume you have checked or looked for anything in the log files if they were turned on.  Perhaps Steve at www.sandaysoft.com/forum can give you some suggestion.

hmm none the less I rebooted everything if it still doesn't upload at 12am tonight I'll contact him.

My NOAAReport did up load but was named NOAAMO0015.txt. It did not name it correctly, unless it was going to do that tonight. I'm running CumulusMX build 3034.

I checked the Reports directory mine shows NOAAYR2015 was updated 1/1/16 as it listed the 31s of December Data same with NOAAMO1215 am puzzled why it didnt wanna upload.. never had this problem with the switch over to new years or months.. hmm hoping the restart of Cumulus fixes this. I'll let ya know.

That is is the correct file name, think about it, the first data in a NOAA report for 2016 will be uploaded at the end of the first day in 2016.

PS whats up with the low station memory? 926/3582 ?? I recently reset my console due to replacing the batteries.

Hi John,
Maybe you did see Steve's post about MX and that he found an error of some .ini file names that have the date in the file name, with his 9:00 am rain rollover.  May not be anything the same as yours though.

That will likely not do anything to correct it.  Possibly a data roll back from a backup so that it would do a new logger download and Cumulus day/month/year process?

I have the same build, Cumulus (1.9.4-b1097) mine uploaded. I would suspect your internet was down so missed the upload, but you said error log doesn't show it down last night. On Cumulus dashboard you can click on error under status box.

Yep it wasn't flashing red and the error log was blank.

The 00 rather than 12 (for December) will probably be because your pattern for the file name is using Cumulus 1 format (where mm = month) rather than MX format (where mm = minutes and MM = month).

Thank you for that Eric. After switching from Cumulus v1.94 to Cumulus 3.0, I did not change the month setting in the NOAA Report part from "mm" to "MM". Has been changed.
