I don't recall hearing about these that much.

A landspout tornado in eastern Wheeler Co. this evening with no damage reported.

Pretty cool.
I do see a parent TS in the bottom pic. Wouldn't that be an actual tornado though?
The blues had a baby and they named it Rock & Roll

It says: Another non-supercell tornado is a landspout. A landspout is a tornado with a narrow, rope-like condensation funnel that forms while the thunderstorm cloud is still growing and there is no rotating updraft - the spinning motion originates near the ground.
