Figured I would close this out with the resolution.
Working with an Administrator on the ipcamtalk forum (great guy) he narrowed the problem down to a password thing.
I set the cameras up with an 18 character password, or so I thought. Seems the camera truncated the password down to 16 characters. So even when I logged into the camera through IE and used the 18 it was still truncating down to 16 AND logging in.
(yea head banger)
However, when I used the 18 characters in Blue Iris it was too many. When we used the 16 characters Blue Iris recognized the camera right off. Anyway, I redid all my camera passwords to 16 characters and then sued the same in BI and it is all fine.
As a side note and plug for
IP Cam Talk, great resource for IP cams - sure a lot of you know about it already
Anyway, issue resolved and I'm a happy camper- especially since we broke 40 degrees today.
Thanks to you too Randy for your efforts, appreciate it.
