ExportToMySQL....Cumulus.ini not found
« on: December 21, 2022, 09:53:17 AM »
I've been runninng CumulusMX for a few weeks now on a Raspberry Pi 4B, works great!
Also with a few hitches got my historical data in the data folder with FileZilla
Had a few problems with directory ownership, but that's fine now
Next I want to update MySQL database with my historical data, running on a Synology NAS (MariaDB with phpmyadmin)
I'm not sure how to run the ExportToMySQL program
When I use Putty I get the error Cumulus.ini not found
Program is in the same directory as CumulusMX.exe
I do not have a lot of experience with Raspberry Pi and Linux but doing is learning....
If I use the following command:
mono /opt/CumulusMX/ExportToMySQL.exe monthly I get the error
option: monthly
Error Cumulus.ini not found
Also sudo does not work with above command
I already checked the file permissions

Maybe this has already been discussed on this forum....

Any help would be appreciated

Edit:

Had to install mono and go to the CumulusMX directory
Now it works!!!
Command mono ExportToMySQL.exe monthly  works now

Well learned a few things today about Linux

The ExportToMySQL utility assumes that the path is already set to the Cumulus home folder.
