The May-June QEX Magazine from the
ARRL has an article by Ryan Gedminas, WW6RAG titled
Weather Balloon Hunting.
In the article, there was a mention of a predictor program at
http://predict.habhub.orgI plugged in the NWS Gaylord, MI coordinates and ran the predictor. The track would pass just south of me.
Hmm. This might be interesting. I know the original post was over a year ago, but the QEX article may have piqued my interest.
The SkySonde program mentioned in your link is interesting as well. It decodes the data, so you don't have to puzzle over some cryptic packets.
