I recently picked up a extra TS(06002M) to monitor temps inside my home when I'm away, To keep it accurate I know to position it away from any heat source or draft source and to place it on a inside wall but is there a rule of how high off the floor I should place this sensor?
Heat rises so I wouldn't want it to high or to close to the floor I would think it would be cooler any thoughts?

Technically, if you wanted to follow NWS rules, that would put you at 30 feet (or meters? I can't remember) high. Most people don't put it that high. I have mine at about 15 feet or so on a fence post and the readings are accurate.

Correct for outside but I stated this sensor is inside my home, I want to monitor house temps when I'm away.

I would say around the same height as a light switch.

Whoops my fault. But yes, based on how air circulates with A.C. and heat in the winter, really anywhere should work. I have one on my kitchen counter and one on my desk in my office and they get the same temperature.

Just to technically clarify, the anemometer should be 10 meters, 33ft; the temp/humidity sensor should be between 1.25 to 2 meters high, 4'1" to 6'7". Of course not many PWS owners can actually achieve this, especially the anny.
