Tazz, Not sure you cant actually demo one but if you aks ill be more than glad to answer any of your questions.

Meteobridge Red (Pro) is Discontinued from the ambient site so I am not sure what that means.... That for sure is not good for US residents... I am sure it has something to do with the Storage issues that the Pro suffered from early on.
You can go for the Nano SD: https://www.ambientweather.com/amnano.html

I was just wondering a few things,

How does it handle extra temp sensors from a VP2 does it log all time records, daily lows etc
Can you build a website around it? Like using web tags. I see it talked about but no info on how to put it to use unless you use a template.
I read somewhere it had a pass through mode to allow another software to work? weather display etc
I assume the software GUI is the same on all the models? hub / bridge

I just find this device it's overwhelming! a lot of the info is 3yrs old. I looked at your site txweather it's nice. How are you doing this here?
https://www.txweather.org/wxwuhistory.php?ID=KTXSPRIN75&month=05&day=25&year=2019&units=E&mode=4

I like that! I know it's WU but how do you pull from them.

I really liked the idea of the pro since i could use it along with my Davis USB data logger.

galfert. thanks for the demo link but it seems limited, i wanted to see how it charted weather data.

Thanks for your time.

That demo is limited in some ways. It does not contain real data and so it is missing the Live Data tab. That is where you can see extra sensors and choose which is the default to send to weather services. It is also only running version 3.8 and is missing some features added since as current version is 4.0. Also the demo is just the standard Meteobridge and not the Pro so there are no graphs and such.

It is a great peice of software. It  is well polished and capable. I'm very happy with it. Firmware is constantly updating with new features.

Meteobridge logs all sensors that are read and you can pick and choose which to report to WU etc.

See https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Push_Services for tags and templates

Port 22222

GUI is different depending on whether it is Meteohub or Meteobridge; but similar.

ALL of this, and more, is in the Wiki: https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Home

I installed this to my raspberry pi and it all works but it tells me "Demo Version has timed out. You need to purchase a license with the embedded PayPal function for further operation (System-ID: tE-------)."

First time i've ever used it.

Meteohub no longer has built in trial. You might be able to request one to the owner Boris. He is here in the forum... (docbee)

If i buy it what does it get tagged to? Can it transfer over to a NANO or other.

On the site it says.
Free Evaluation Version (limited until end of December 2019 or three months of use) available in download section!

Meteohub and Meteobridge licenses are not interchangeable. Meteohub and Meteobridge licenses can be migrated to new hardware for free. Meteobridge comes with 14 days all functions available free trial, Meteohub comes with a limited demo mode for up to 3 months.
