Vantage Pro2 Data Logger
« on: May 21, 2020, 03:40:37 PM »
I have had weather stations for years - but never ponied up the $$ for a Davis. Always wanted one.

So this morning a friend gifted me a used Vantage Pro 2 weather station that as far as i can tell has ALL the bells and whistles. Fan, heated rain cup, solar sensors - all there - Wow!!! :-)

The only thing it does not have is a PC connected data logger. I would like an IP logger - they seem very expensive for what they do - there also seems to be some third party options - can those be trusted? My console product number is 6312 - which appears to be a good thing at first glance...

Thanks for any tips

Signed,
 Lucky guy.

Davis IP logger is no longer sold/available and even if you could find one it may not be compatible depending on the age of your "new" station, the Davis green dot syndrome.

No problems with the third party options, there's a lot of users on here and I'm sure they can you fill you more about them than me.
