Changes to forum
« on: May 11, 2021, 10:49:07 PM »
Is it just me or has the forum layout changed?

I like some of the new things I now see, like the sort by column.
However I can't find anything to replace the Unread Posts that quickly showed me the new posts since last visited.  Also the font size has changed which I have overcome by increasing my browser settings to zoom to 175%.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Paul,
No, no changes to the software/CSS on the forum.  I suggest you clear your browser cache to fetch fresh copies of the CSS.

Best regards,
Ken

Hi Ken,
I have cleared browser cache, and on new sign-in to WXforum I get the screen as attached.  I thought there was a lot more displayed at the top, including a link to recent posts.  Is my memory fading ](*,)

I have tried 3 browsers on desktop, and the same on laptop from which I had never accessed WXforum, and they all show the same - no link to recent posts.

Thanks,
Paul

Thanks for posting the screen image.. I see what's happened.  To the right of the weather icons, there's a small white down-chevron.  Click that, and the page should expand to have the links you seek.  It's a seldom-used feature of SMF to collapse the header area of the display, and that preference is carried with your userid.
