HEAT! Ohhh, so close...
Cienega32:
My station's all time high (since Apr 3 2007) is 108.3° in June 2013. Today's high? 107.8°! SO CLOSE! And yet, still only my 5th highest
T-clouds began to move when it hit that temp & slowly brought it down to a cool 103°...
So far, 24 days 100+ with 14 in a row (current) and 3 days since the start of 'HOT!' that only saw 99.5°, 99.8°, 99.9° to break up this record run. Most days in a row prior was 12 in 2020.
Some would say it's 27 in a row but numbers be numbers &, like the man said: "Ninety-nine and a half justa won't do - got to be a hundred". \:D/

Technically, 99.5 is rounded up, so yes, it's 100.
Mattk:
What brings down a lot of the hyped up numbers and what some are trying to align with certain agendas, is simply "so it has been hotter?"
zeppline:
MY station was 115.2F yesterday it was a record for that day. The all time record for Las Vegas is 117.0F. We will be in the one teens all week. The humidity was 6% very dry.
Hayden M:
Those temperatures must be miserable to be in. When it got to 120F in 2021 here in the Columbia Basin, no one here was having fun at all.
