Stormy Thanksgiving for NC coastal area

(1/1)

From the NWS discussion...

THE QUICKER A SYSTEM STRENGTHENS THE MORE LIKELY IT WILL CONFINE ASCENT/PRECIP CLOSE TO ITS CORE DUE TO AGEOSTROPHIC ACCELERATIONS RESULTING FROM ISALLOBARIC WIND COMPONENT.

Now that's one of the most technical statements I've ever seen for the Wilmington NWS... I haven't researched it yet... any comments from others? Laymans terms, LOL...

Look at the pretty colors...

If it strengthens quick, it's going to rain like H in a small area near the center of the storm.  If it strengthens slow, widespread showers.

We really don't know what to expect from it.
